Kids in the Kitchen
Culinary · about 45 minutes
Children get their own stations, kid-safe knives, and a real recipe instead of a craft dressed up as food: pasta with a sauce they build from scratch, or meatballs rolled by hand. They measure, they taste, they decide it needs more salt and add it. Adults sit on the far side of the room on purpose.
Best for ages seven to twelve. Send them in wearing clothes you have already given up on. Parents who cannot resist stepping in get gently redirected to a chair, because the entire point is that the child gets to be the one who made dinner.
