Two benches. On the repair side, volunteers with soldering irons, glue, clamps, and a sewing machine work through whatever people carried in. On the build side, offcuts of timber become a shelf, a planter, or a small box with a lid that closes. Tools, safety glasses, and somebody to show you which way the saw wants to go.

Adults and teenagers fourteen and up on the power tools; younger children sand, clamp, and paint. It suits people who would rather leave with a skill than an ornament, and anyone who moves house often enough to be tired of replacing furniture that could have been repaired.
