Clay Day

No wheel and no kiln. Air-dry clay, a board, a bowl of water, and your hands. You pinch a bowl, coil a pot, or make a small animal that refuses to stand up properly, and it hardens over the next few days on a shelf at home. The only tools are a fork, a wooden stick, and a sponge.
This is the most forgiving thing we run, because clay you have wrecked squashes back into a ball and you start again. Ages four through adult all work in the same room at the same table. Bring a box or a bag, because wet clay does not travel well on a car seat.
